PURPOSE: To mechanically and uniformly supply a given amount of soil to a raising seedling box made of a synthetic resin. ;CONSTITUTION: A placing frame 17 having engaging holes 21 for placing of longitudinal and lateral measures is put on a placing container 9 provided with a peripheral wall 11 on the circumference of a square bottom plate 10 and inverted conic cup-shaped raising seedling pots 1 made of a synthetic resin having an open top are meshed with the engaging holes 21. A soil supply adjusting plate 60 is placed in such a way that adjusting through hole 61 are positioned above the raising seedling pots 1, the soil supply adjusting plate is transferred by a conveyor 36 and soil is supplied to the pots from above.
