PURPOSE:To provide a processed food having delicate taste by using egg of irabu (Laticauda semifasciata or Laticauda laticaudata, a kind of sea snake) as a raw material. CONSTITUTION:Eggs are extracted from the abdomen of captured irabu, washed, immersed in a distilled liquor (e.g. AWAMORI) for about 5-6hr, pickled in fermented bean paste or salt and taken out of the pickling bed after about 2 days. The processed irabu egg prepared by this process is a viscous material having a hardness of bean curd, pale creamy color as a whole and delicate taste.
