PURPOSE:To prevent movement caused by dead weight of a supporting structure, to stop a car surely at a required position and to drive easily the car in by providing chain blocks interlocking with guide chains and having brake mechanisms to front and rear bearing boxes. CONSTITUTION:Bearing boxes 13 and 14 are provided to the outward end or a position near to the outward end of the front and rear of one supporting structure 1 of supporting structures 1 and 2 mounted on floors at right angles to a pair of front and rear guide chains 10. Chain blocks interlocking with the guide chains 10 and having brake mechanisms are provided to the bearing boxes 13 and 14, and a sunchronous shaft 20 to transfer driving force of a driving motor mounted to one bearing box 14. When the motor is cut during entering and leaving the car shed, the supporting structures 1 and 2 are immediately stopped at required positions during lateral movements of them, and the brake mechanism such as a ratchet, interlocking claw piece, etc., are positively operated to prevent movements of the holders 1 and 2 caused by their own weights even if there are slopes on the floors.
