CONSTITUTION:Images of flames of each of burners 80a-80c are taken out by means of a fiberscope 100 provided in each burner and photographed by means of solid-image cameras 62a-62c and stored in an image storage unit 64 of an image analysis device 63, while frequency of luminance of peak value is computed by means of a luminance distribution computing unit 66. A feed rate ratio computing unit 67 computes feed rate ratios of oxygen and pulverized coal C blown off from each of the burners 80a-80c based on feed rate ratio information having been stored in correlation storage unit 65 and frequency of luminance of peak value to obtain the deviation of distribution rate of the coal C effected by a distributor 43, in which feed rate of gas GD for distribution by which deviation of distribution rate is minimized is computed based on said deviation. A control device 68, based on said minimum deviation, outputs, for example, control signals to a gas flow control valve 47 to control the feed rate of gasification agent GR which is fed to the burners 80a-80c.
