PURPOSE:To securely fix a reinforcing member to the transport base for supporting the lower part of a movable part suspended resiliently into the outer frame of a washing machine with a centrifugal dehydration and prevent the washing machine from being operated with a reinforcing member remaining in the washing machine upon unpacking its package by providing projections on the reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing member 23 is embedded in the central part 19 of a transport base 18 and engageable with a burring hole 17 of a transport part 16 provided in the lower part of a movable part. By a projection 25 provided on the side face of the reinforcing member 23, the force required to pull out the reinforcing member 23 from the transport base 18 becomes at least about three times as large as that required conventionally. By the sloping face 26 provided on the projection 25 of the reinforcing member 23, the reinforcing member 23 can be inserted into the transport base 18 by the application of a small load, its detachment from the transport base 18 can be prevented upon inpacking, a washing machine can be prevented from operating with the reinforced member 23 remaining in the transport part 16 provided in the lower part of the movable part and the washing machine can be transported without causing damages thereto.
