RUBBER BUSHING FOR CABLE SUPPORT IN CONNECTION TERMINAL BOX

PURPOSE:To eliminate risk of cutting of an electric wire in a terminal box due to twist etc., by forming a plurality of hard, acute tip projections on the inner surface of a rubber bushing, and thereby restraining turn of the cable body willing to be drawn in. CONSTITUTION:A rubber bushing 5 is embodied in a ring having ribs 6 on both sides, and part of its periphery is cut off to generate small wall thickness, and a notch 7 is provided from its part center toward the center, and on both sides thereof notches 7' are provided at a certain spacing. When the pinched cable P becomes thin the end 5' is cut along the notches 7' so that the inner dia. of the pushing 5 suits the dia. of the cable P. On the inner surface of the rubber pushing 5 a channel-shaped slip stopper 4 provided, and on its surface a plurality of acute tip projections 4a are formed. Being interposed between an inner clamp 9 and cable body (p), the projections 4a bite into the sheath of the cable body (p) with fastening of a supporting member 2 to hinder slippage of the rubber pushing 5 with the cable body (p).
