DOCUMENT PROCESSOR WITH SPELLING CHECKING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency of document processing by automatically rewriting an inputted misspelled word by its corresponding candidate word. CONSTITUTION:A misspelled word and a selected candidate word are relationally stored in a word pair memory 26 in a RAM 20. When an inputted word has been stored in the memory 26, the inputted word is automatically rewritten by a candidate word stored in relation to the misspelled word without executing spelling check or candidate word retrieval, so that in the case of repeatedly inputting a word stored by a misspelling, the retrieving and selecting operation of candidate words can be completely omitted in the 2nd input and after. Consequently, time required for the retrieving and selecting operation of candidate words is saved and the working efficiency of document processing is improved.
