PURPOSE:To improve graininess and visual graininess by incorporating a diffusion resistant coupler producing a properly dispersible dye by coupling with the oxidized product of a developing agent, and another coupler forming a dye of a color equal to said coupler and having a specified coupling velocity. Since high sensitivity and high sharpness of the high-speed reactive coupler are exhibited, a material of high sensitivity and capable of forming high image quality can be prepared.
