PURPOSE:To narrow the spaceousness of a robot in terms of the strength by interposing a slide member having a certain frictional coefficient at the sliding surfaces between an upper frame secured to robot arm and a lower frame loosely fitted to this upper frame. CONSTITUTION:A slide member 12 having a certain frictional coefficient is interposed at the sliding surfaces between an upper frame 91 secured to the wrist 7 of a robot and a lower frame 94 which is loosely fitted to this upper frame 91 and equipped with a hand 8. If therefore the fastening torque of a bolt 96 is made constant, the slide starting load of the upper frame 91 and lower frame 94 can easily be limited into a certain extent. This allows expectation of making uniform the performance of absorbers 9, which eliminates necessity for increasing the strength of robot too much, and also suppression of the manufacturing cost is made practicable.
