PURPOSE:To obtain a device not giving incongruity to a visitor by providing a device which detects the infrared ray radiated from a person and issues the barking of a dog when the presence of a person is decided at a cabinet resembling the dog. CONSTITUTION:An infrared detector 2 is provided at the cabinet 1 formed resembling the dog so as to expose whose detecting part over the cabinet 1. Furthermore, a decision part 3 which decides the presence of the person by the output signal of the infrared detector 2, and an alarm part 4 which issues the barking of the dog as an alarm tone are provided. When the person approaches, the infrared ray radiated from the person is detected by the infrared detector 2, and the output signal is sent to the decision part 3. The decision part 3 drives the alarm part 4 when judging the presence of the person by temperature difference with a background and the size of an infrared radiator entering the visual field range of the infrared detector 2, etc., from the output signal of the infrared detector 2, and issues the barking of the dog as an alarm for the invasion of the person.
