Electronic switching matrix control - has additional diodes providing extra switching nodes within conventional matrix

An electronic switching matrix of the conventional type is modified to extend the matrix (11) by means of an additional input signal carrier (8a,8b) and diodes (12,13). This results in two additional switches on the switching column (7a,7b). The diodes are connected with outputs in common (8d) and form an additional switch (14) where intersecting the switch column. The switch column has a low relative potential when the diodes conduct and this results in the corresp. input signal carriers (8a,8b) also carry a low potential. The output signals (3a,3b) therefore carry high potential.
