The method involves making functional alterations in the equipment used, and involves using demand specification-generating components. An auxiliary device controls such components, and representation units by which the parts in the system function are continually representable. The total dischargeable function of the system is implemented in the demand specification-generating components, and the total function is broken down into part functions. A number of selectable function possibilities are chosen and accessed with the respective function possibility coupling activator. The evaluation system forming part of the auxiliary means is activated dependent upon adjustments to cause the function possibility to remain effective. In the representation unit is indicated a representation of a part function belonging to the information system. The constructional process stage uses a level-divided, user-interactive reference model.
