Interposed between at least one of thelatent image forming emulsion layers and the supportis a blue absorbing silver iodide emulsion layerexhibiting at temperatures below 25°C an absorptiontransition wavelength that is bathochromicallydisplaced by at least 20 nm as compared to theabsorption transition wavelength of B phase silveriodide.
