In the field of molecule-based magnet, functional molecular magnetic materials have been intensively studied, because their magnetic properties can be changed by external stimuli, such as light, pressure, and heat. The change of magnetic properties is achieved usually based on charge-transfer, spin-crossover. A key factor to achieve these switching materials is the existence of multi-stability of spin states.
