ABSTRACTA suction head for carrying reaction cups,which can carry a reaction cup of light weight used forany biochemical reaction analysis by hanging it bysuction, wherein the head is provided with a cylindricalcavity as an air passage having a diameter approximatelyequal to that of an air suction and discharge openingformed at the lower end of the head body and extendingup from the opening in the head body; further, ifnecessary, a plurality of circumferential grooves formedin the inner wall surrounding the cylindrical cavityas required; or a vertically movable weight fitted inthe cylindrical cavity.-16-
