SUBSTANTIALLY HYDROPHOBIC AND BIODEGRADABLE LAMINAR CELLULOSE MATERIAL, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND SUBSTANTIALLY BIODEGRADABLE DISPOSABLE DIAPERS MADE OF THE SAID MATERIAL A cellulose material having hydrophobic properties which preserves its biodegradable characteristic. This material is obtained through a treatment in which the basiccellulose material is treated with a combination of an alkyl ketene, modified cornstarch and a cationic retention agent in order to confer same with the above referred hydrophobic properties.
