DISPOSABLE FOLDING TOOTHBRUSH HAVING INTEGRALLY INJECTION-MOULDED BRISTLES, A METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME AND AN INJECTION MOULD THEREFOR

The method for producing the toothbrush (1) comprises forming the bristles in a single injection operation along with the rest of the single piece. The portion which moulds the bristles consists of block inserts (9) and movable strips (14). To carry out this shaping, at least two symmetrical electrodes must be cut by wire electroerosion. Half-bristles (16, 17) are produced, by means of the electrodes and through infeed erosion, on one side on the block insert and on the other side on the movable strips (14). Heating resistors (23) are embedded in said block inserts to provide differential control thereon. The method can be used for manufacturing disposable toothbrushes.
