The inventive device is equipped with an electric motor (14) which is powered by a rechargeable accumulator (13). The apparatus further includes a compressor (15) which is driven by the electric motor to generate a delivery pressure for a container (22) filled fabric. The device works according to the injector principle. Atomization is used compressed air instead of propellant gas in an environmentally friendly manner. The apparatus is designed so that it is comfortable to handle.; The device is particularly suitable for release agents which are used in electric welding.
