The cooling device uses at least one Paltier block (26) with its wamr side in heat conductive contact with a heat exchanger (28), through which a cooling medium is circulated. The cold side of the Peltier block (26) lies in contact with a second heat exchanger (20) with cooling ribs for cooling the circulated air within the coolbox. The cooling ribs lie within a flow channel (17) with a corresponding cross-section through which the air is circulated via a fan (23). The cooling medium circulated through the first heat exchanger (28) is fed through a further air-cooled heat exchanger (31) for removing the generated heat.
