Known window/headlamp washing devices for motor vehicles with liquid-cooled engine have a washing fluid container from which a line leads to spraying elements on a window or headlamp. It is disadvantageous here that only a portion of the washing fluid is heated up whilst the portion located behind in the direction of flow remains frozen at low external temperatures. So that heated washing fluid is always available even just after the engine has started and also at low external temperatures, according to the invention a heat exchanger is constructed in the washing fluid container (26). For this purpose, a feed line channel (30) branches off from the first section (14) of the cooling fluid line of the engine (10), which feed line channel (30) leads as a heat-outputting line (32) in a helical shape through the washing fluid container (26).
