The invention relates to the built-in components of a high temperature reactor, consisting of the thermal cover shield and the cover reflector, which are arranged above its core and are suspended by means of tension rods. The tension rods which hold the thermal cover reflector, consisting of a layer of hexagonal cover stones, are fastened onto the pressure vessel lining. Each cover stone is suspended on three tension rods. In order to prevent cover stones being able to fall down upon failure of the suspension, each cover stone has three claws, directed radially and arranged at 120@ to each other, which engage behind the neighbouring cover stones, and the claws of three neighbouring cover stones engage behind each cover stone. The cover reflector consists of multilayer hexagonal columns of blocks. In each case, a unit consisting of three of these columns of blocks is suspended on the thermal cover shield by means of a central tension rod, the three columns of blocks being held by a carrier plate arranged at the lowest layer and connected to the central tension rod, as well as in each case by a tension anchor. The tension anchors are designed as pipes and accept, in each case, a tension rod guided in its further course through the column of blocks and fastened on the thermal cover shield, so that each column of blocks of the cover reflector is likewise redundantly suspended. A plurality of variants are specified for the fastening of the tension rods in the lowest layer of the column of blocks.
