Automatic continuous spraying machine - conveys articles through vibrator, then under jets directed on to revolving throw-off deflectors, and through similar washing section

A continuous spraying machine has a treating section where a conveyor belt continuously rotates the articles as it feeds them and at least one stationary spray treats the articles as they pass on the conveyor; this spray moves or turns across the longitudinal direction of the equipment. The machine pref. incorporates a belt of polyurethane and rubber components. Feed sections (I), spraying (II) and washing (III) for automatic operation. The articles to be treated are first passed through a vibrating tunnel (1) or similar and then through a curtain (2) which masks spray outwards. The treating section (II) has a worm conveyor suspended from rollers to form a trough holding the articles; above this trough there are the spray jets (3). The spray jets meet throw-off revolving wheels (31) whose number and disposition are arranged to cover the articles by transverse movements or by turning. The washing section (III) again has a screw conveyor and an elastic curtain (6). ADVANTAGE - The layout sprays the articles concerned in short cycles, avoiding risk of damage. The articles are sprayed uniformly. The process can include washing.
