The ground-working machine has a variable width. It has a transverse row of earth working tools attached at intervals to a frame. The frame has extensions to either side which are all in line when working the soil but which swing up to the vertical for transportation. A pair of rollers (8) covering the whole width of the machine are attached to the frame (6) with a central space between them (30), and a number of tines (4) spaced along the width of the frame with the middle one (27) opposite the space (30) between the rollers (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - The soil is worked evenly and in regular widths.
