The aid for laying flagstones or tiles with uniform spacing and correct alignment, consists of a cross made of plastics (1). The cross has four arms which lie in a common plane and are spaced at 90 deg to each other. A fifth arm is attached to the centre of the cross and extends at right angles to the plane of the cross. The cross is inserted at the junction of four tiles or flagstones with the fifth arm projecting upwards. The fifth arm then serves as a handle to facilitate removal of the cross. The idea can be adapted for positioning stone blocks when building a wall. USE/ADVANTAGE - Correct positioning of flagstones and tiles.
