The tile-laying tool contains a seamed cross for aligning the tiles. An angle member (1) has a first fixed tile cross (5) in one corner area (4) whilst a further cross (8) is provided on two arms (2, 3) of the angle member which are at right angles to each other so that the crosses can be aligned at right angles to each other. The crosses are interchangeable and/or are provided in different widths. The arms contain longitudinal guides (11) along which the cross can be moved by a guide body (12).
