Prepn. of alkyl sulphate paste with better free flow - by addn. of sulphonation prod. of unsatd. fatty acid glyceride esters to paste

Alkyl sulphate pastes with better free-flow properties are prepd. by incorporating 1-50 wt.%, w.r.t. the solids content of hte paste, of a sulphonation prod. of unsatd. fatty acid glyceride esters in alkyl sulphate pastes with 30-80 wt.% solids content. - The amt. of additive is pref. 5-30 wt.%, w.r.t. solids content of hte paste. The alkyl sulphate is derived from 12-22C fatty alcohols, and the additive is from unsatd. fatty acid glyceride esters with iodine number 60-210, esp. glycerides of 16-22C fatty acids with 1-3 C=C bonds.
