The single device simultaneously emits sound and light effects. The light effects from lamps or light organs etc. are frequency selectively assigned to conventional loud speakers (13, 14, 15) so that different spatial light effects can be associated with each individual loud speaker (13, 14, 15) pulsing in time with the loud speaker control signals. Different coloured lamps can be provided with switches (60, 61, 62) which can be controlled directly parallel to the loud speaker system (1,2) or the loud speaker leads. The light intensity of different lamps can be varied depending on room temperature, humidity etc. to reflect the atmosphere of the room. ADVANTAGE - The combination of frequency selective, optical and acoustic sources using conventional loud speakers etc. enhances the effects detected by human senses.
