The illumination system consists of one or more effects light sources connected to one or more effects light bodies via one or more effects light coupling units so as to introduce light into the interior of the one or more effects light bodies. The coupling can be permanent or reversible. The effects light bodies can be of any three-dimensional shape and can have one or more effects light inlets.
