The invention relates to a device making it possible to obtain the same uses and function as a rigger, pulley, or other angular transmission for an overall size and mass which are substantially reduced by comparison with the equivalent rigger. It consists of a pulley wheel (5) around which there freely runs a roller chain (4), the rollers of which are joined by links and on which there bears and runs the link which forms the object of the angular transmission. When the link is running on the roller chain, the pulley wheel pivots about a transverse axis within limits of authorised deflection, via means (7) like a key. The fields of application are the nautical industry, particularly riggers of pulleys for boats, the mechanical demultiplication of load, underwater work, for example for circuits termed "umbilical circuits", that is to say electric, gas, and other supply cables, passive pulleys for storing cable (drilling platform).
