PURPOSE: To confirm whether a user is normally authenticated or not on the side of a communication network when the personal communication user transmits from a terminal. ;CONSTITUTION: A personal communication network 5 has an exchange node 3 containing the terminal 2 and a data base 4 which can be accessed from the exchange node 3. The function of authentication at the time of an access requirement from the user is provided for the terminal 2 or the communication user or a card and the data base 4, an authentication management function 6 managing the authentication result with the number of the use or identification data is provided for the exchange node 3, and the data base notifies the authentication result to the authentication management function.
