PURPOSE: To obtain the subject solvent useful as a substitute for fluorocarbons for the removal of machining oil for precision machine part, optical instrument part, etc., flux used in the soldering of electrical or electronic part and stain of clothes by using a perfluoropentane as an active component. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective solvent contains preferably ≥70wt.% of 1H,2H,3H- perfluoropentane.
