PURPOSE: To provide a transporting element of a reciprocatable scraper for moving the sludge in a settling basin and similar object at a water purification plant. CONSTITUTION: Transporting elements 8 consist of bodies. Each body in cross-section shows a downwardly facing surface 9, a substantially oblique convex surface and a substantially vertical concave surface 11, by which the concave surface 11 is directed in the foward, transporting direction.
