PURPOSE:To lengthen the service life of a molten metal pouring hole in a molten copper alloy pouring furnace. CONSTITUTION:As a material of a pouring nozzle 6 arranged at the molten metal pouring hole 3 in the molten copper alloy automatic pouring furnace 1, a refractory containing 10-20wt% C 70-80wt% Al2O3 is used, and further, as a material of a stopper 7 for opening/closing the pouring nozzle, a refractory containing 30-40wt% C and 35-55wt% SiC is used. By this materials, the developments of nozzle clogging caused by the stickness of slag and stopper cracking caused by the thermal shock are prevented.
