CASCADE CONTROLLER AND CONTROL METHOD FOR UNIT VENTILATOR

PURPOSE: To obtain a controller for unit ventilator employing cascade control more sophisticated and effective for room temperature regulation. ;CONSTITUTION: The controller 14 for a unit ventilator 10 comprising a heating coil, a fan, a damper for introducing outer air includes two cascaded PID control loops. The controller 14 generates a set point concerning to the temperature of air discharged from the unit ventilator 10 using a room temperature detected by a room temperature sensor 38 and a room temperature set point and controls opening/closing of a pneumatic valve 22 determining the pneumatic pressure of the output line, position of a damper 28 or operation of the heating coil 20 using a discharge temperature set point and a detected discharge temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
