TWIST BEAM TYPE REAR SUSPENSION WITH STEERING MECHANISM

PURPOSE: To reduce a steering variation at a time when lateral force acts on wheels as a vehicle turns or the like, in a twist beam type suspension with a steering mechanism ;CONSTITUTION: Two trailing arms 10R, 10L spaced in both symmetrical directions of a vehicle are connected together with a twist beam 26, and an assist link 42 is supported on this twist beam 26 in parallel, relatively, movably only around its own turning axes 44 in relation to a car body. An interval between the trailing arms and the assist link 42 is connected by two control links 50R, 50L, and an intersection 62 of each extension of these control links is situated on the center line of a rear axle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
