THERMAL HEAD POSITIONING MECHANISM OF THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To provide a thermal transfer recording apparatus capable of sharply printing a fine line or a fine character by positionally adjusting a thermal head to the max. printing density position by looking the relation between the front and rear positions of the thermal head and printing density in real time by one printing. ;CONSTITUTION: In the thermal head support mechanism of a thermal transfer recording apparatus equipped with a main shaft 1 having a spring member 11 at one end thereof and a male screw part 1a at the other end thereof and a thermal head positioning and moving member 10 having an external power transmittable uneven part on a part of the outer periphery thereof or the entire periphery thereof and internally provided with a female screw l0a, the positioning and moving member 10 is moved before and behind during printing by external power while finely rotated and the relation between the heating resistor 2a' of a thermal head and printing density is looked in real time to positionally adjust the thermal head 2a to the max. density position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
