THERMAL HEAD POSITIONING APPARATUS IN THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDER

PURPOSE:To enable a positive positioning of a thermal head with a simple construction by applying an elastic force to a bracket to press the thermal head on the platen roller. CONSTITUTION:A bending portion 263 is bent upward to a flat section 261 and a retaining piece 2631 is projected at both ends thereof to retain a pressing spring. Additionally, at the said both ends, a pressing spring 265 is mounted across the retaining piece 3631 and an immovable member at the upper part of the equipment. The spring 265 is extended against the contracting behavior thereof and presses the thermal head 25 on the platen roller 20 by resilience thereof. The pressing force has a partial force orthogonal to the direction Y paralleling the flat section and applies a force to press a contact section 264 of a bracket 26 on the contact member 200 on the side of the platen roller 20. This can maintain a correct relative positional relationship between the thermal head 25 and the platen roller 20.
