METHOD FOR FORMING CORROSION PREVENTING COATING FILM

PURPOSE:To form a coating film free from film defects and excellent in corrosion resistance by removing volatile matters in the coating film and then heating. CONSTITUTION:A cation electrodeposition coating material containing a cation resin and a block isocyanate compd. as the essential components is applied on a product to be coated to =50mum dry film thickness by electrodeposition. Then this film is heated at =100 deg.C so that the volatile matters in the coating film is reduced by =10wt.% in average, and then further heated at =140 deg.C for hardening.
