CHARGE SYSTEM ACCORDING TO COMMUNICATION DISTANCE IN ATM NETWORK

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain charging information including the communication distance element by reading a reception cell accumulation number from a memory after a call is interrupted. CONSTITUTION:An initial value of the accumulation number of reception cells and charge information according to communication distance of a reception cell are written in a memory of a ATM network at setup (step S1) and every time a cell is received, the reception cell accumulation number and the distance charging information are read out of the memory and the arithmetic operation processing to add the distance charging information to the reception cell accumulation number is implemented (step S2) and the accumulation number of reception cells revised as above is sequentially written the memory (step S3) till the call is interrupted.
