PURPOSE: To manufacture a surface treated Al alloy material having effect of being provided with excellent corrosion resistance after coating and press formability and widely usable as household electric appliances and automobile bodies and parts as well as building materials. ;CONSTITUTION: This is a surface treated Al material or an Al alloy material excellent in corrosion resistance after coating and press formability in which the surface of an Al material or an Al alloy material is provided with an layer contg., by atom, 0.1 to 30% Si as a primary layer and its surface is provided with galvanizing or ferrous plating as a secondary layer of the surface layer, and the surface of the above secondary layer can be provided with a layer having 0.1 to 30% Si content as its surface layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
