CONSTITUTION:In the plasma thermal-spraying method for a Perovskite type oxide in which the oxide 70 having a granular Perovskite type structure is fed to the inside of a plasma flame 73 obtd. by heating plasma gases 83 and 88 by an arc 67 and is melted, and the molten drops 71 are sprayed on a base metal 75 to form thermal-sprayed film 74 on the surface of the base metal, the arc 67 is formed between a main torch 51 and a subtorch 52, and the circulating flows of the plasma gases 83 and 88 by forming means 97 for circulating flows are formed in the vicinity of the arc 67. Furthermore, the gas rate of the plasma flame 73 is regulated, and the resistance time of the molten drops 71 in the plasma flame 73 is reduced compared to the time required for the decomposition of the oxide.
