VIBRATION-PROOF TRANSFERRING APPARATUS FOR STRETCHER IN AMBULANCE

PURPOSE: To transfer easily and by only a person a stretcher with a caster to an ambulance at a higher position than a floor surface. ;CONSTITUTION: Two arms 3 and 4 are combined in a V-shape on a base loaded on a vehicle and a pair of a compression spring 7, and a hydraulic cylinder 8 provided on the arms 3 and 4 can absorb vibration and support an elevating and lowering frame 2. A stretcher loaded in the ambulance is supported and hooked by means of this elevating and lowering frame 2. A transfer stage 15 which is slidable along the longer direction on the elevating and lowering frame 2, is provided. The length of sliding of this transfer stage 15 is determined in such a way that the front end of the transfer stage 15 is projected from the rear end of the ambulance and comes to the lower position than the lower face of the stage of the stretcher being outside of the vehicle to transfer surely the stretcher being outside of the vehicle to the transfer stage 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
