SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING NOTICE OF GLOBAL RECEPTION

PURPOSE:To decrease the capacity of an on-line memory in which the user program is in operation by defining a virtual logic node and a virtual logic unit in addition to an existing logic node and an existing logic unit to one and same network system. CONSTITUTION:The virtual logic node (b) is defined in addition to the existing logic node 1 and the virtual logic unit 7 as a sole logic unit is defined in it to define a virtual session 9 connecting the virtual logic unit 7 and its own logic unit 2. In desiring to receive a data from many unspecified logic units 5, when the user program 3 issues a reception request to the virtual logic unit 7, an identification number of the opposed logic unit 5 is extracted from an actual session management table 10 receiving the data addressed to its own logic unit 2 defined as the user program 3 and sets the number to a reception request block 13 requesting the reception and gives the notice of its completion to the user program 3. Thus, the block size of only one reception request is enough for the capacity of the on-line memory.
