PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required to confirm whether a mobile station has received a general notice or not. ;SOLUTION: When an operator gives an indication, a general notice reception confirmation request is inputted to a control part 5. A standby radio machine 4 finds an idle speech channel in response to the indication of the control part 5, and the channel of the standby radio machine 4 is set to this speech channel, and it is reported to the control part 5. Next, a general notice confirmation signal including speech channel information is transmitted from a current ratio machine 3 to a mobile station through the general notice channel. When transmission to one mobile station is terminated, transmission is performed for the next mobile station by the same procedures. Mobile stations switches channels to the designated speech channel to transmit a general response signal.
