Navy relief ship

A navy relief ship is proposed which represents a standard platform which, by loading with containers which are used for accommodation, supply and repair purposes, contain ship-safety equipment and other equipment for military purposes and can be transported on land by military motor vehicles, can be used at little cost as a military tender or servicing craft equipped for action. Conversely, it is possible, by removing the containers required for military purposes, to convert the standard platform at just as little cost into a merchant ship for the transport of conventional, standardised containers, so that the relief ship represents either a completely commercial freighter or else a completely military supply ship or the like.
