Device for comminuting the inner chips formed in the internal deburring of longitudinally welded pipes, in front of which an individual tube still containing the scraped-off inner chips can be positioned after being separated from the continuously produced pipeline, the device having a pressurised-water flushing device at the start of the pipe and a chip intercepting device which can be moved up against the end of the pipe, a chip guiding device, a chip cutting device and a chip scrap collecting device and in this way expels, guides and converts the inner chips to chip scrap in a closed system.
