PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SOLID WASHING AND CLEANING AGENTS WITH A HIGH POWDER DENSITY AND IMPROVED RATES OF DISSOLUTION

The purpose is to produce solid washing and cleaning agents with a high powder density or a component therof by the addition of solid and liquid detergent raw materials with simultaneous or subsequent shaping and, if desired, drying, in which the agents containing the usual components like anionic tensides, builder substances, alkalising agents and liquid niotensides and, if required, water or aqueous solutions exhibit an improved rate of dissolution at temperatures between 15 and 60 °C. This is achieved in that firstly all the solid components are mixed together and then the liquid components are added. To improve the dissolving properties, an additive is introduced into the process after the solid components have been mixed. The additive to improve the dissolving properties consists of fatty alkyl sulphate, olefine sulphate, alkyl-aromatic sulphonates or mixtures thereof. The additive which is solid per se may be either introduced as the last solid component or added to the other already mixed solid components, or it may be introduced into the process in the form of an aqueous mixture, preferably in a 25 to 60 wt % aqueous solution. The per se solid additive content of the agent is preferably 0.5 to 8 wt %.
