Impact control for a nail or staple driver

A circuit arrangement for an electrically powered multiple-impact nail or staple driver with controlled impact force is proposed. After each impact, the change in the driving-in depth is measured and the impact force adjusted automatically as a function of the material hardness. A reading device (15) continuously measures the driving-in depth and ends the driving-in process when an end signal (24) is reached. A display (14) indicates the end of the driving-in process. IMAGE
