A T-shirt is for the protection of pets that are unwell or have recently undergone an operation. It is made of cotton or a similar material and has two sleeves for the front legs and the hind legs which are attached by means of velcro(RTM)-type fasteners or can be removed by means of these fasteners. An adhesive device is fastened on the T-shirt for the body of the animal both on the shoulder section and on the hind leg section for the fastening of a velcro-type fastener. A second body part with an interlining made of cellulose or a similar material is incorporated. The T-shirt also features a ring, which goes round the animal's neck.
