TV receiver housing with CRT holders - consists of basic part with aperture for CRT, conically tapering on three sides

The housing has retainers for securing the receiver chassis and a rear wall. A front fame is secured to the housing (1). The latter consists of a main portion (2) with a front aperture for retaining the CRT. The main part has at least three side walls (5a, b) tapering rearwards, and the CRT is exclusively insertable into it from the front. On the inner wall sides holders are fitted in the corner regions of the front aperture for securing the CRT. Pref. a bottom plate (4) extends orthogonally to the front edge of the main part, or at an acute angle. The main part merges into an extension (3), surrounding the CRT neck. USE/ADVANTAGE - TV receivers, with stable design, providing good protection for receiver and easy mounting CRT.
